Celebrating 30 Years of Elegant Timepieces: Parmigiani Fleurier’s Stunning New Releases
This year at Watches and Wonders 2026, Parmigiani Fleurier proudly introduced a remarkable lineup of new watches to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Unlike many modern interpretations from other luxury brands, these pieces stand out with hand-finished dials, exquisite precious metals, and an exclusive touch, including gold.
I’ll be honest: my initial awareness of Parmigiani Fleurier dates back to the early days of my watch collecting journey. However, my appreciation deepened over the years as the brand embraced minimalist designs that exude sophistication. While these timepieces are undeniably luxurious, their subdued elegance captivates me. The current collection celebrates 30 years of craftsmanship and continues to embrace these refined characteristics.
The Toric Trilogy: A 30-Year Celebration
While I often gravitate toward the Tonda PF line, I can’t overlook the charm of the Toric. This exquisite round watch showcases the same minimalist dial design as its sportier sibling. To mark its 30-year milestone, Parmigiani has launched three limited editions, each featuring a hand-hammered 18K gold dial meticulously crafted by a single artisan through 60 steps. This meticulous process ensures that each of the 30 pieces in every model boasts a uniquely stunning dial.
The Toric Chronograph Rattrapante
The first timepiece in the Trilogy is a platinum rattrapante (split-seconds) chronograph, featuring a 42.5mm diameter and 14.4mm thickness. This piece boasts an agave-blue dial adorned with both gold and steel hands. In addition to standard hour and minute functions, it offers sub-dials for 30-minute and 12-hour counters, plus a running-seconds display, accompanied by two central elapsed-seconds hands.
Powering this exceptional model is the stunning manual-winding PF361 movement, featuring openworked bridges and a generous application of anglage. This high-beat movement operates at 36,000 vibrations per hour and boasts a power reserve of 65 hours. The watch is priced at €178,300.
The Toric Quantieme Perpetuel
Next up is the Toric Quantieme Perpetuel, featuring an 18K rose gold hammered dial and a 40.6mm by 10.9mm case. This limited edition consists of just 30 pieces, adorned with two sub-dials that present the calendar information with gold-plated steel hands. The hour and minute hands are exquisitely crafted from 18K rose gold.
Inside, the watch is powered by the brand’s manual-winding PF733 caliber, which provides a 60-hour power reserve with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Through the sapphire case back, you can admire the stunning Clous de Paris hand-guilloché and anglage. This exquisite model retails for €127,500.
The Toric Petite Seconde in Platinum
The final piece in the Toric 30-year trilogy is the stunning platinum model featuring small seconds. Parmigiani refers to this unique dial color as “Morning Blue,” paired with a hammered 18K white gold base. The watch’s elegant case measures 40.6mm by 8.8mm.
This reference is also limited to just 30 pieces and features a manual-winding movement. The twin-barrel PF780 offers a 60-hour power reserve and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Architecturally, it mirrors the previous PF733 with the same stunning Clous de Paris hand-guilloché. Paired with a pearl-gray alligator strap and a platinum pin buckle, this model is priced at €84,700, making it the most accessible choice in the trilogy.
The Platinum Tonda PF Collection: A New Benchmark
This week, I also penned an in-depth piece on the mesmerizing Chronographe Mystérieux from Parmigiani. While I won’t delve into the intricate details of the movement, I can confidently say that seeing this watch in person is a true delight. The way the rhodium hands gracefully retreat to unveil their chronograph functionality is nothing short of enchanting, with the rose gold hands assuming timekeeping duties—it’s a flawless design.
While the steel model is a part of regular production, the Chronographe Mystérieux also comes in a limited platinum edition to commemorate 30 years. Each of the 30 pieces has a 40mm by 13mm case with a sandblasted natural platinum dial, housing the beautifully adorned PF053 automatic movement. Priced at €112,400, this watch is a significant yet exquisite upgrade from its steel counterpart.
The Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante Platinum: A Traveler’s Companion
The elegant Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante is also available as a platinum limited edition, featuring a matching platinum dial. This model allows the wearer to easily adjust the local time using a pusher located at 7:30, revealing a rose gold hand that indicates home time. A crown-mounted pusher conveniently resets the upper hour hand, returning the original configuration with ease.
With a 40mm by 10.7mm case, it has a similar elegance to the Chronographe model. Despite having an additional pusher, it maintains an impressive 60m water resistance rating. This timepiece is powered by the PF051 caliber, an automatic movement beautifully finished with Côtes de Genève, perlage, and anglage. It offers a power reserve of 48 hours and runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour, retailing at €102,700.
The Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante Platinum: Precision in Style
Finally, Parmigiani turned its attention to the Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante. This remarkable watch includes pushers positioned on the side of the case to advance a previously hidden minute hand in either five- or one-minute increments. Once set, it becomes a countdown timer. A convenient crown-mounted pusher resets the countdown hand underneath the current minute hand. Housed in a 40mm by 10.7mm case is the PF052 micro-rotor automatic movement, which shares the lineage of the Tonda PF calibers within the platinum collection, boasting a 48-hour power reserve and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. This model is priced at €105,000.
A First in Gold: The Tonda PF Chronograph
While the last release isn’t solely dedicated to the 30-year celebration, it’s nonetheless noteworthy. For the first time, Parmigiani introduces a rose gold version of the Tonda PF Chronograph—an exquisite 40mm timepiece featuring a stunning Mineral Blue dial with a hand-guilloché Grain d’Orge pattern, complemented by a sleek matching bracelet. As for its chronograph functionality, it displays running seconds along with 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers. The automatic PF070 movement is a COSC-certified chronometer, providing a 65-hour power reserve and a precise high-beat frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour. With a water resistance of up to 100 meters, this luxurious watch is priced at €79,000.
Final Thoughts: A Celebration of Timeless Elegance
In my view, Parmigiani has truly hit the mark with its 30th-anniversary collection. The new releases are clean and sophisticated, stripped of unnecessary embellishments while beautifully styled. The color choices are tasteful and elegant, adding just the right touch of flair. Overall, Parmigiani Fleurier unveiled one of the most impressive sets of releases at Watches and Wonders 2026.
