Discover the Synchron Sealab Ti300M: A Dive Watch With Modern Flair
After a quiet period since the summer of 2023, Synchron has made waves in early 2026 with the exciting launch of the Sealab Ti300M. With a classic appearance and a host of modern features that collectors will love, this watch promises to be a standout addition to any collection. Stay tuned for a hands-on review next month, but for now, let’s dive into what makes this release so intriguing.
A Brief History of Synchron
Synchron has deep roots in the watch industry, originally forming from several Swiss brands like Doxa, Cyma, and Ernest Borel in the late 1960s. These brands united under a distinct three-part logo, which garnered significant recognition in the watch community. Rick Marei, a prominent figure in the dive watch arena, revived the Synchron brand in 2021, kicking off with the impressive Military model. Following this, Synchron has collaborated with Poseidon, a leading Swedish producer of diving equipment, to introduce various innovative watches. Now, the spotlight is on the Sealab Ti300M, which carries the brand’s legacy forward while integrating essential updates.
The Synchron Sealab Ti300M: Modern Features and Durability
The Sealab Ti300M showcases a sleek brushed Grade 5 titanium case, a notable shift from the brand’s previous stainless steel designs. With a 41mm diameter and a 45mm lug-to-lug measurement, it’s designed to fit comfortably on the wrist while keeping a slim profile of just 11.9mm—substantially thinner than earlier 14mm steel models. However, don’t let the size fool you; this watch maintains a formidable 300m water resistance, thanks to its reliable screw-down crown.
The watch is topped with a flat sapphire crystal featuring an anti-reflective coating for optimal visibility. A 120-click unidirectional bezel, designed with practical sawtooth knurling, allows for easy grip and manipulation. For the strap, a standard 20mm rubber Tropic is offered, with an optional ISOfrane strap available for those looking for something a bit different.
A Striking Semiglossy Orange Dial
The Sealab Ti300M features a vibrant orange dial adorned with applied indexes built with X1 Super-LumiNova, enhancing visibility in various lighting conditions. The luminous material coats the hour, minute, and seconds hands, appearing white in daylight but giving off a soft green glow in the dark. A practical black-on-white date window is conveniently located at the 3 o’clock position. While some may draw comparisons to the vintage Doxa 300, one could argue that the Synchron name and logo lend it a unique authenticity.
Impressive Movement Inside
Staying true to its vintage predecessors, the Sealab Ti300M boasts an all-metal case back showcasing the Synchron logo. Inside, you’ll find the reliable La Joux-Perret G100 movement, specifically the top-grade Soigné variant. This movement is adjusted to four positions, runs at a frequency of 4Hz (28,000 vibrations per hour), and offers a generous 60-hour power reserve. Being a modern caliber, it supports a quick-set date function and hacking seconds, ensuring precise timekeeping.
The Sealab Ti300M: Exceptional Value
Currently available for pre-order on the brand’s website, the Sealab Ti300M is a limited edition of only 500 pieces. The introductory price of US$990 is very appealing, especially considering the materials and craftsmanship involved. After the pre-order phase, any remaining models will retail for US$1,390. Deliveries are set to commence in February 2026. With its impressive specifications and alluring price point, this watch seems like a remarkable find. While it’s unlikely there will be any left by the time we conduct our in-depth review, we can’t wait to share our firsthand impressions!
